A total of 14 units are scheduled for delivery in November to the Information Systems Division. The ISED marks the first completely integrated simulation system that combines audio, I/O, and DIS into a visually programmed system. AGTS provides separate training devices for training individual crewmen, crews, sections and platoons in precision and degraded gunnery skills for the ABRAMS M1A1, M1A2, and M2/M3A3. Training occurs at a wide variety of sites and settings, including formal courses at institutional settings like Fort Knox and Fort Benning, individual battalion and squadron level units in CONUS and overseas, at sites which serve as formal or informal training centers, and at reserve and National Guard training sites.
