The SMx system is a Quad-Core 4U rack mounted computer system with one 1U breakout box. Delivering 8 channels of I/O with better than CD quality of 44.1kHz, 24 bit. It is coupled with a 32 bit WDM streaming driver for better DirectX performance. In other words, while designed for simulation and training with HLA and DIS compliance, the system can also be used as a complete digital audio studio with a mixer console and a hard disk recorder built in.
