VComm Radio Data Advanced

ID:  2039

Object Description

The VComm Radio Data Advanced object can be used in conjunction with VComm Radio Objects radio objects to set the power output of the transmitter and input sensitivity of the receiver.

To use the object, simply connect the radio handle output of a radio object to the radio handle input of this object. The data that is present on the input pins is sent to the radio object and can be changed while V+ is running.

Note: The VComm HAVEQUICK object, when used in conjunction with this object and enabled, will override this object's POWER pin. Refer to the Special Usage notes in the VComm HAVEQUICK help page.

Input Pins

Example

The figure below presents an example of how the VComm Radio Data Advanced object is used with a VComm GENERIC Radio, V8 DIS Only object. Note that the POWER pin is set to 5 Watts, which is then converted to ~37dBm.
